History of Fridge

Fridge is being used in a kitchen of near every family in the world, but most people do not know who invented fridge and when it was been applied to daily life.

In fact, fridge was created in 1876 by Carl Paul Gottfried von Linde. Carl Paul Gottfried von Linde was a German engineer. He was born in June, 1842 in Berndorf, Germany, and he was died in in Berndorf, Germany. Invention of Fridge was obtained a patent in 1877. the basic idea of fridge is simple: the evaporation of a liquid is used to absorb heat. In early time, toxic refrigerants was used as refrigerant. In the 1930s R-12 was used to replace sulphur dioxide as the most commonly used refrigerant. Trademark name for the product wascalled Freon. Then fridge was applied into daily life.

Prior to fridge, meat had to be salted for its preserving. Now, fridge plays an important role in our kichen and various styles of fridge are invented by people such as two-door fridge, fresh fridge and frozen fridge. Our life is being changed more convenient and healthier.
